Masonic Order of Athelstan

King Athelstan ruled England from 924 to 940 A.D. It is said in the Old Constitutions that he was a great patron of Masonry. The Masonic Order of Athelstan was formed in 2005, and the ritual legend of the Order is inspired by the King. The interest of the Order is Masonic history. Membership is restricted to Royal Arch Masons of Chapters in full amity with the United Grand Lodge of England.
