Brother_Albert_Pike_33rd_Degree
 
Illustrious Brother Albert Pike was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He became a Master Mason at Western Star Lodge No. 2 in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1850. After helping to charter Magnolia Lodge No. 60 in the same town, he went on to become the Worshipful Master in the year 1853-1854. Furthering his light in Masonry, he entered the Scottish Rite in 1853, and received the 33rd Degree on April 25, 1857. He was elected to be the Sovereign Grand Commander of the Supreme Council on January 3, 1859, of which position he held for thirty-two years.
