Brother Paul Revere was born in 1734 in the city of Boston, Massachusettes. He was made a Mason in St. Andrews Lodge on September 4th, 1760, and raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason on January 27th, 1761. Brother Revere also became a Royal Arch Mason and Knight Templar in 1769. The culmination of his Masonic career was his installation as the Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Massachusettes A.F.& A.M. on December 12, 1794, at Concert Hall. Brother Revere is well known in American history by his evening ride on April 18, 1775, alerting Samual Adams and John Hancock that the British troops were marching to arrest them.
